Candidate Markus Batchelor is a HUGE advocate for the education of our children in the District as well as their health and safety.  Markus is a great friend to Black Millennials for Flint as he traveled on a service trip accompanied by youth from Sousa Middle and Anacostia High School to Flint, Michigan back in April 2016.  With recent occurrences of lead exposure in DC, the topic of environmental justice is of great importance.Â
